Times Network is all set to launch two new Hindi News & Current Affairs channel as the BCCL group forays into the Hindi News broadcasting space. The company recently amended its Reference Interconnect Offer (RIO) to include Times Now Navbharat HD and ET Now Swadesh as part of its Channel Offerings.
BCCL will launch News & Current Affairs channel Times Now Navbharat HD in Hindi language along with ET Now Swadesh that will also be a News & Current Affairs channel in Hindi language.
The company initially in May 2021 notified amended RIO effective 10th June 2021 that introduced Times Now Navbharat HD in its RIO for the first time. BCCL has now again amended its RIO effective 1st August 2021 introducing ET Now Swadesh as part of its Channel Offerings.
BCCL will offer Times Now Navbharat HD at Rs 1.5 excluding GST on a-la-carte basis while ET Now Swadesh will be offered at Rs 1 excluding GST on a-la-carte basis.
“The channel “ET Now Swadesh” will commence w.e.f. 1st September, 2021,” said BCCL in its RIO. The launch date of Times Now Navbharat HD is currently unknown. BCCL can launch it on any given date having already pre-notified the launch in line with TRAI regulations.
