TRAI postpones OHD on ‘Issues related to New Regulatory Framework for Broadcasting and Cable services’

New date for OHD on the consultation paper will be intimated by TRAI in due course of time.

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) yesterday postponed the Open House Discussion (OHD) on the consultation paper titled ‘Issues related to New Regulatory Framework for Broadcasting and Cable services’. The watchdog stated unforeseen reasons behind the postponement of the OHD.

The OHD was scheduled to be held tomorrow through video conferencing but now stands postponed. TRAI will intimate the new date for the OHD in due course of time.

Due to unforeseen reasons, the Open House Discussion (OHD) on Consultation Paper titled “Issues related to New Regulatory Framework for Broadcasting and Cable services” which is scheduled on 21.07.2022 (Thursday) through video conferencing, has been postponed. New date for the OHD on the subject matter will be intimated in due course of time.

The consultation paper was released by TRAI to address the issues raised by the stakeholder’s committee and for seeking stakeholder’s comments on issues pending for full implementation of the New Regulatory Framework 2020.
