Celebrities Management Pvt Ltd (CMPL) Group which includes Travelxp channels has updated its Reference Interconnect Offer (RIO) after launching Foodxp channel in India for its distribution across MSOs and DPOs.

Foodxp is a cooking channel that was launched in the first week of March 2022 in the country. CMPL group is offering it for free till March 31, 2022, and after that, this pay SD channel will be available for Rs 1.50 per month. Prices of other channels remain unchanged.

The addition of Foodxp on major DTH platforms is also expected to happen in April, after the end of the free preview period. CMPL Group does not offer any bouquets and hence all of its channels need to be subscribed individually on a la carte basis.

CMPL has been granted ‘FoodXP‘ TV license in the ‘Non-News and Current Affairs’ category. This channel is operating from foreign satellite Intelsat-20 with both uplinking and downlinking permission from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Foodxp is in the Hindi infotainment genre which will compete with celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s FoodFood which is an FTA channel and from April this year, it will be available on DD Free Dish to reach ver 40 million households.
