Zee Media appoints Director and Key Managerial Personnel

Zee Media Corporation Limited yesterday in accordance with the regulations informed the BSE about the appointment of Director and Key Managerial Personnel approved based on recommendations of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board of Directors of the Company at the meeting held yesterday.

The broadcaster appointed Mr. Dinesh Kumar Garg as the Executive Director – Finance of the Company and nominated him as the Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of the company in the category of Chief Financial Officer with effect from September 20, 2019. The company also nominated Mr. Sudhir Chaudhary, CEO & Editor-in-Chief – Cluster 1 as KMP of the company in the category of Chief Executive Officer with effect from September 20, 2019.

On 12th September Zee Media had informed the stock exchange that Sumit Kapoor had decided to pursue an interest outside the Company and has accordingly resigned from the statutory position of Chief Financial Officer of the Company with effect from close of business on September 13, 2019.
