Zee Telugu News and Zee Kannada News now available on Tata Play

Tata Play subscribers can subscribe at the price of Rs 0.10 per month separately for both the channels.

Leading Direct-to-home (DTH) operator Tata Play has added two regional news channels from Zee Media Corporation Limited (ZMCL) “Zee Telugu News” and “Zee Kannada News” on 6th March 2024. Zee Telugu News is available on Channel No. 1477 and Zee Kannada News on Channel No. 1664.

Initially, Zee Telugu News and Zee Kannada News were launched as digital news channels along with Zee Tamil News and Zee Malayalam News in January 2022 and later on, Zee Telugu News and Zee Kannada News were converted into linear TV channels.

D2H was the first operator that has made Zee Telugu News available on its platform on Channel No. 2467. After that, Zee Telugu News and Zee Kannada News were added by Sun Direct on Channel No. 177 and 292 respectively. Before Tata Play added Zee Kannada News, this channel was exclusively available only on Sun Direct.

Tata Play subscribers can subscribe by paying Rs 0.10 per month separately for both the channels. Overall, Tata Play is very keen to add channels of various broadcasters and after the addition of the most necessitate Investigation Discovery HD and Gemini Music HD and many other channels last month, Tata Play has further broadened its Telugu and Kannada channels lineup with the addition of these two new regional news channels.
