Airtel Digital TV slashes Airtel Xstream Box price to Rs 2499

Direct to Home (DTH) operator Airtel Digital TV has today slashed the price of its Android set-top box Airtel Xstream Box to Rs 2499 as a festive offer making it the cheapest Android set-top box in the market from DTH operators. The new price is applicable for both Airtel and non-Airtel users unlike Airtel Xstream Thanks Offer which was limited to Airtel Thanks members.

The price of Airtel Xstream Box which was retailing at Rs 3600 until a few days ago has seen a cut of Rs 1101. New Airtel Xstream Box users will be offered 7 days free-preview of Airtel’s Rs 462 HD pack which offers 23 HD channels along with the new connection. The monthly charge with the new connection will be Rs 462 which can be changed at any point of time.

Airtel will offer a 1-year warranty on the box along with an Airtel Xstream Premium subscription for 1 year. One will also have the opportunity to choose Airtel’s new OTT bundle at Rs 1699 which offers a 1-year subscription to ZEE5 Premium, Disney+ Hotstar VIP, and Airtel Xstream Premium.

Airtel has also revised the price of Xstream Premium from the existing Rs 5999 to Rs 4898. The proposition offers Airtel Xstream Box bundled with a 1-year subscription to Amazon Prime, ZEE5 Premium, Disney+ Hotstar VIP, and Airtel Xstream Premium.

According to sources within Airtel Digital TV, DreamDTH understands that Airtel Xstream Box will come with new DTH connection. Further details on the aforesaid offer remain unavailable as of now.

In other news, Airtel has recently revised the upgrade price for Airtel Xstream Box from Rs 2249 to Rs 2300. Separately, the Airtel Xstream Thanks offer has seemingly been discontinued as the dedicated microsite for the same now redirects to the Airtel Xstream Box microsite.
