Final update from Amazon.

The update is from Amazon and not from Airtel.
Even after passing of more than 2 months, the recording facility didn’t start. Error massage says “coming soon” and for Airtel definition of “soon” is different.
 
Is there any news regarding the software update of xstream box ? If not Ott applications they should atleast change the audio output of channels .. it was showing dd 5.1 for all the channels even they are not providing the dd sound.

Many Home Theatre System converts stereo sound in 5.1 sound with some logic. However, when it receives a fake 5.1 channels as input with all the channels except 2 as dummy, it does not do any thing. This is the worse thing that can happen to you.

Giving fraudulent massage of recording facility ’coming soon’ on screen for more than 2 months is another example of Airtel incompetence.

STAY AWAY!!!
 
Netflix in Airtel Xstream box doesnot support all 5.1 dolby hometheatres connected via optical audio.

The amazon and google dispute is still not resolved i guess.. My android 9 certified TV also has the same problem with amazon prime no 4K HDR or DD/atmos audio support. all devices running stock android TV OS has to be fixed, their dispute is affecting customers who are actually paying for such services. After seeing all these post about xstream box i am putting my purchase on hold.
