Yes he get amost FTA Channels, no he can't get paid channels... You can use DVB S2-HD PVR Card/DreamBox/Openbox etc. to give key and unlock the paid channels..

will all the fta channels will come in your dish.

Yes other ways are checking the software menu of the stb if the dealer shows a demo of it.
