Hello brothers, I urgently want to buy Airtel Xstream box 4 set-up box, so can you tell me whether support of Dolby Vision / HDR 10, either of them is available in this set-up box or not?

Please reply bro 🙏

xstream box supports hdr, no dolby vision

Brother, I had another question, I had a Tata Play Binge Plus set-top box but now it is broken, so I am buying Airtel Xstream box, whose picture quality is better? Please tell me that please!

Both boxes have good picture quality. Cannot go wrong with either.

Request u to please reconfirm information before posting the same in forum as above statement made by you is incorrect..... Airtel XStream Smart Android Box does support Dolby Vision and same can be seen listed under the Display Tab available in settings menu......Also Airtel Xstream box overall scores much better than Tata Play Binge Box as has been discussed earlier too in the forum

Please note even if a device / box supports a feature then enabling the same by company/operator is dependent on various factors.. Like For providing Dolby Vision on a smart box DTH operators would have to sign agreement with Dolby Laboratories hence it does mean that box does not support the feature or for example Airtel Xstream box supports HEVC compression format but currently Airtel Digital TV provides SD HD channels using MPEG 4 compression but later it can decide to migrate HD channels to HEVC format as lot of its HD boxes too support HEVC Compression Format and rest can be exchanged so it "cannot be said that Xstream box does not support HEVC format

HD and SD PQ bright vivid in Tata sky Binge box. very dull in Xtream box. SD channels PQ almost worst.
Dolby sound almost like theater kind of sound in Xtream box. dialogues clarity also very good. Even SD channels sound also extremely good.in Binge box Dolby sound just so so.
you cant feel anything. This is my observation.

For OTT apps if you are willing to spend more price please take Nvidia sheild or Apple TV. There is no comparison either in PQ or SQ with DTH OTT android boxes (ADTV, Tata sky).
upscall 4K option really good in Nvidia shield and it can decode all formats of DTS. and you can use KODI also.
If your requirement is only OTTs then Apple TV is better option. Even Zee 5 and Aha can provide Dolby in Apple TV. That option is not there in Android boxes (I think).

Don't agree with u buddy on 1st point. SD as well as HD chs picture quality is top notch on Airtel XStream Box.

If one needs to watch TV + OTT DTH Smart Boxes r the best option and overall performance of Airtel XStream Box is better than others...... If one wants to watch just OTT content then Fire TV Stick, Smart TV's etc. is perfect choice, in this too i would prefer a Smart Stick than Smart TV as lot of small to mid range Smart TV's face slowness or hanging issues as inbuilt processor+limited ROM gets overloaded with apps being used on the platform
