Friends,
I am replacing my TataSky+ STB with a Videocon 1000Gb DVR. I have one cable coming into the instal point. As a recorder has 2 RF inputs (to either record 2 channels simultaneously, or to watch one channel and record another at the same time) TataSky had installed a small splitter near the STB and split the cable into the two connections required by the DVR. I was under the impression that the same was possible for Videocon as well but the technician who came for installation said that 2 cables need to be brought in from their master switch in the building duct. This is not possible in my case, as the wiring within the apartment is concealed. Wanted to check if any other subscriber had a similar problem and how was it solved/addressed? Would appreciate any thoughts or inputs
Thanks
PKV
