Seeking Help Facing problem with my remote.

Friends my remote is not working properly. When I am pressing any key on the remote the red LED blinks twice. The STB is also responding sometimes not always.
I have two months old Technicolor HEVC stb. My remote is of October 2016. Don't know it's original or duplicate.


What should I do??? Please help me.

It's definitely original one, try as @pramain bro said. If not working properly then call cc and raise a complaint regarding this issue. If rcu comes in under warranty then you will get new remote.

Bro, it's of October 2016. I don't think it comes under warranty. Moreover I have purchased it from retailer's shop.

I am thinking that how it's not working properly in 1 year??? My first remote worked from 30 Nov 2009 to 15 Sept 2016 & this worked only from Oct 2016 to April 2018.
 
Ordered new remote from cc. Price is 100 + 50 visit charge.
