Guys, I just changed my base pack to My Plan 179 and added All HD Top Up+Zee Cafe+HBO SD+Colors Infinity. I received this sms :

Colors Infinity Topup,Zee Cafe Topup,HBO 1M Topup,All 28 HD Topup has been activated on your airtel digitalTV ID. You have been charged Rs.289.0.For information on recharge, base pack and top ups, dial 12147 (toll free) from airtel mobile.

Now, this 289 that they have charged in advanced, is it for the activation only or they have deducted for 30 days in advance?

Brother are you getting ch no 101 offer 4 u.Currently it is the opening channel of airtel.When I am changed to my plan 179 I am not getting it.It said that it is not subscribed.

Btw, I've one more confusion. They deducted Rs. 289 for top ups in advance, my present balance is Rs. 230 and Validity is 11th Feb. Now, if I count from today, that 30th day is 3rd Feb, so what happens afterwards? Does it mean my top ups will be halted unless I recharge on 3rd or 4th Feb or it will keep going on till my account has sufficient amount required for daily charge?

Are you sure that top ups and base pack Validity are not treated separately?

Coz my prev base pack was Mega Pack with 2 HD at Rs. 458 PM and Validity was 5th Feb. Now, after making changes today my monthly consumption stands at Rs. 468 (My Plan 179 + All HD 204 + Zee Cafe 20 + HBO SD 35 + Colors Infinity 30) and my present Validity showing is 11th Feb. So, how come it increased? It should be less then 5th Feb na?

Are you sure that top ups and base pack Validity are not treated separately?

Brother it may be because my plan 179 and my plan 99 are daily burn rate base pack.All other base pack minimum rent is for 30 days.

In your account you have 230 rupees and your daily burn rate will be 179/30 which is around 6 rupees, till 5th Jan. It'll change once you complete one month with your top ups and become 468/30 which is around 15.6. So, on 5th Jan your account balance will be 230-180 i.e. 50. And this 50 rupees will be consumed in 3 days. So actually your validity date is 8th Feb. But Airtel calculates the validity as per today's burn rate and hence it's showing 230/6= Around 38 days of validity. Hope this clarifies.
