But in my stb some time it shows idle and some time aborted

Today morning my HD DVD Updated with SW no. 601
Now SES 9 TP'S visible

But in my stb some time it shows idle and some time aborted

When you switch on the STB,it checks for update,at that time the status is IDLE,if there is no update available status changes from IDLE to aborted in 15 min
If an update is available,it continuously shows IDLE,if it anytime shows Waiting,it means update is ready to download
