Airtel cc called me today & asking my xstream box cdsn no. & cssn no.for software update.
He tell me technical team call me 7:30pm...
Hope software update will receive evening..

Did you escalate it to CC for software update for them to call you.

My tv is hdr and dolby vision supported. But hdr is gone after this update. I tried on netflix amazon and even youtube.

Try rebooting Xstreme Stb while TV is On.

Finally new update arrive my xstream box..
HDR now disable...pq now good...sound quality also increase.
Recording feature now available for me.

How did u convince them?
Cc have no idea abt priority software updates, they are asking me if a visit from technician should be arranged.
I don't know how to ask for this update.

Call airtel cc he connect to xstream team...said your issue...hdr related problem...& said new software version...after 2 days u received call from airtel technical team..
After update few things notice..
HDR totally gone.
Apps lagy..
Sound quality improve..
Pq great..

Isn't this an official public firmware version (since recording feature is also enabled) that's meant for everyone. If so everyone will get it ultimately.

Yes..this update not for everyone....who suffer from hdr related pq issue...but pq now great...i have 4k hdr tv...but not like hdr feature...

Yeah. The picture quality is really good now . Only thing I felt bad is they completely removed HDR support from apps.
