Why Viacom18 is unwilling to enable Dolby Audio on Vh1 HD? Being niche channel this is even more important to attract desired audience. Even more irritating is that Vh1 SD audio has been degraded to make regular audio on HD feed sound superior. Totally flawed strategy

Also certain Viacom18 HD channels have really poor distribution specially on DTH Platforms. They have strong presence in youth, music, infotainment / lifestyle but unable to expand reach of its HD channels in these very genres. Looks quite strange to me. Anyone knows what is the reason for this ? Even other broadcasters having not so popular chs have managed better on distribution front.

Lastly what is plan for Nick HD +? During starting days it aired mix of nice desi n international shows but soon after shifted to very basic stuff, since then this has continued. Even Cineplex HD has turned bogus

It's Good to see that now Zee Anmol Cinema is shifting it's Gear for Movie Library for Bolly Films Audiences.

Current Schedule of this Channel is reflecting Movies from 1975 to 2000 vividly nowadays on Morning 9.30 am / Afternoon 3.30 pm / Evening 6.55 pm slots.

Also they are airing some Selective Stuffs from Zee Classic Library Also.

So finally the Lovers of Pure Bollywood Stuffs at very Low Rate - can Enjoy "Zee Anmol Cinema" at best.

Nick HD+ has no future unless they air live action stuff. I suggest to air animated stuff at daytime. Then add a Teen Nick block to air live action series. It can be a strong competitor to Disney International HD.

For Cineplex they can only survive with shared library with other broadcaster. They recent acquisition of big south blockbuster aren't helping them as this are one time watch movies. And their library were constantly airing on Colors and MTV which didn't help them.

Viacom should forget movies by now and concentrate on sports. Too many rights are not getting pick up nowadays because of monopoly of two arrogant broadcasters here. And the third one doesn't have proper financial backing. Fourth one can break the monopoly.

Hopefully, an English music channel is in cards as well. Vh1's library is being wasted by airing same old Top 40 and random EDM songs. Combine English library with indie music. You have a strong channel competing against 9XO.
