Rs.0.1 Star Bindass : Youth Channel, Borrow Channel V shows, Showcase youth oriented Movies as well, limited slots for music. [Competes Zing, MTV India] (Make FTA if possible)

Rs.0.1 Star Utsav : Rerun GEC, shows from Entire Star library, No one wants to spend money to watch reruns. (Make FTA if possible)

Rs.0.1 Star Tracks (Baby TV HD): Hindi Music Channel, Baby TV is useless, and Bindas will have limited music slots. Baby TV HD is useless. (Make FTA if possible)

After Trai rule they gone Digital . Mib also not cleared their license last year when they were fully ready to launch on Oct but later on from dec trai changed all .

Here's my view on a Star rebrand.

GECs

Star Plus and Star Plus HD : Flagship channels that targets both urban and rural audience.

Star Prime and Star Prime HD (rebranded Star Bharat) : Edgy urban centric GEC.

Star Parivaar and Star Parivaar HD (rebranded Star Utsav and UTV Movies) : Re run channel with Star India's library.

No movies should air any on any GEC channels.

English GECs

Star World and Star World HD - Rebrand to adult centric channel. Air all the HBO's, Showtime, etc.

Disney Family and Disney Family HD (rebranded Star Gold Select and Disney International HD) - Family centric shows from ABC, NBC, Freeform etc.

Shut down Star World Premiere. Useless channel by now.

Movie Channels

Star Gold and Star Gold HD - Features all genres of movies.

Star Gold Action and Star Gold Action HD (rebranded UTV Action and UTV HD) - Features action movies.

Star Gold Classic (rebranded Star Utsav Movies) - Features classic movies.

Star Gold Comedy (rebranded Movies OK) - Features comedy movies. IMO all network should have comedy movie channels.

Star Bollywood HD (rebranded Star Gold Select HD) - Bollywood Premier channel. Will compete directly with Zee Cinema HD &Xplore HD. Movies should premiere on HD channel first.

English Movies

Star Movies and Star Movies HD - Features International movies. No need to add language feed like Sony Pix.

Kids

Disney and Disney HD (rebranded The Disney Channel and Star World Premiere HD) - A Disney original only channel.

Marvel HQ and Marvel HQ HD - A Marvel content only channel. This should be home for Marvel movies premiere which should syndicate to Star's movie channels. It should be priced the highest ₹19.

Disney Kids and Disney Kids HD (rebranded Baby TV) - A channel meant for porsche kids. From midnight to 9 am content meant for little babies from Baby TV International. Then from 9 am - 7 pm Disney kids shows.

Still don't like Baby TV meant for kids? Make your toddler's watch Big Boss and Splitsvilla.

Hungama TV - Manga and Anime from Japan. An old uncut re-runs of Shinchan, Doraemon, Kochikame should air after 11 pm. Also have some Japanese reality and game shows.

Youth

Star Bindass (rebranded Bindass) - Re-runs from Channel V and Bindass with returning seasons of old shows. Also brand new shows targetting the youtube and netflix audience. Also bring that Star Gold Select and UTV's library for weekends. No need for HD feed for these. HD audience can watch it on Hotstar.

Infotainment and Lifestyle

National Geographic and National Geographic HD - Why fix something that's not broken? Reduce airing of Science of Stupid. It is ruining the credibility of Nat Geo brand.

Nat Geo Wild and Nat Geo Wild HD - Channels with Wildlife shows.

Nat Geo Traveller and Nat Geo Traveller HD - It's just rebranded now defunct Nat Geo Adventures.

Star Life and Star Life HD (rebranded Fox Life and Fox Life HD) - Mix of Indian and International shows. Bring MasterChef and Koffee with Karan to this channel. Have everything from fashion to travel shows.

I gotta need to know more about regional channels. And their sports business needs to seperate for its own good and profit.
