Well, the select button does have a touchpad kind of a feel but I couldn't get it to work as such.

Ah, I missed replying to this. I have Grand Sports pack and subscribed to HBO Premiere channels. SWP is free for now. Will subscribe to our once the free thing is over. Will buy a second box for the bedroom after some time.

Its ok. It will be just HD box if we get it though. We might decide that a Chromecast is sufficient because we use that TV maybe 3-4 times a year.
