It won't work on TV volume just set the proper volume from TV remote and the volume can be customised by STB only.

You said it won't work on TV volume whereas it will work very well.

Did it work bro? Even i didn't know we could change TV volume with TS remote and was only using it to turn on and off. Surprisingly i never bothered reading about the volume control part of it. Now i have paired even that by this method and it works well.
