How to record 1 channel while watching other?

Hi All,
I wanted to know that is there any way to record 1 channel while watching other?

I am able to record 1 hindi channel while watching another hindi channel but cannot record kannada channel while watching hindi. Why is that so?

Please guide.

you can record two channels from same tp and you can change channels from same tp.

Friend that channel you record must be from the same TP while watching other hindi channel.So you can check if you are Recording one channel and able to record other channel within that TP means same frequency.

Now if your box doesn't allow you to record in other TP then it has one Tuner so your box will not allow you to record on any other TP while watching the same.Only latest costly boxes having double Tuner can let you watch any channel and record any channel ok.
