Intending to move to DTH from Cable Wala

I am currently using a local cable tv services and paying monthly 250 rs. I have bought his STB for around 1500 rs. Now I am intending to move to a DTH. I am in Chennai. Which provider would give me the same monthly outgo. Would there be any exchange for the STB because the current one would not take it back it seems.

There is no exchange facility available for STB , You will need to pay new connection charge...
