Unlike something silly and id*otic things shown on Inside Edge, the e-Auction generally takes place till the time two or more players involved in the bidding. It won't end after a stipulated time as shown in that id*otic show. After each bid, there will be ample amount time for each player to choose if they wanna be further in bidding. Just check, how the BCCI Indian cricket rights went down last time they had e-Auction.

Disney is the #1 entertainment company in the world. They are strongest in every genre they are present in India. The Walt Disney Company would be more than happy to give the resources to Star to acquire IPL. They need strong assets for Hotstar.

The ESPN-Star Sports relationship is really like Romeo and Juliet. Without ESPN's technical support, Star Sports would be a no-brainer. During Uday Shankar's tenure, he was able to take Star Sports without major mistakes. But now Star Sports' course is like a ship without a captain.

Content wise ok, but they should improve a lot to catch Netflix and Amazon Prime in quality of presentation.
