Moving from TataSKY HD to Videocon D2H HD

Hi guys,

I have an existing tata sky HD pack and would like change it to videocon.
My question is:
Do I have to spend 1880/- again for videocon ??
Which means that the 2700/- spent on tata sky STB are wasted ??
Can that STB be sold in after market ??

You will not have to just spend 1880 but also 700 installation charge.
This has been a recent trend to move from Tata Sky HD to D2H HD and you are also following the same trend, you will get a lot many new HD channels. But as time is nearing for GSAT 10, you can choose to wait for some more time. My suggestion would be that you will not get much for your Tata Sky HD box if you sell it, but once channels come, no one can beat Tata Sky in terms of quality of services they offer, so you can decide to keep Tata Sky HD with you and re-activate later when they start offering required channels.

1.You can take 1year advance rental pack of d2h with which HDSTB is free.
2.You can sell TSHD stb on your own.

As you are TSHD subscriber,you will be never satisfied with D2hHD and will revert back .

So stay with TSHD and Ts will add HD channels soon.

Thanks guys.. I guess the best way forward will be to wait for a couple more months and then take a decision.
Also in some forum I read that the current transponders of TataSky will be expiring soon and thats why they are not using GSAT 10 transponders for more HD channels.

But I think I will just wait and watch for a couple more months.

Its Gud decisson nsm I have personally taken D2h HD connection in december 12 and personally not very happy with the PQ. I feel TS and dishtru HD was better so would be reverting back
