Seeking Help Planning to Upgrade TS HD STB to TS HD+ PVR STB

So Bro using Splitter will cust signal quality by 20-25% right.

How did u get almost full SQ even after using splitter, i can understand if its connected in 1 single cable.

Wrong. Maximum 5-8% cut. 25% cut would be a insane thing. It gives same as without splitter. It is recent cyclone and wind blows that misaligned my dish which is why signal is decreased by a lot.

See my 2015-17 posts where i shared screenshots. I don't know how but if you research on unicable LNB (the tech used with this Super LNB) you will know that's what the LNB does for everyone. It is not like that on normal LNBs.

The local installer told me he installed 6 HD connections with 1 dish connected with Super LNB and result was excellent. Even MDUs connected upto 36 connections on hotels use Super LNB.

You will know if you experience it yourself, i explained enough by now and i don't know how to prove it further now.

The signals what I am getting with quad lnb is almost similar to Ur signal levels posted today. I will check Ur old posts and see the actual signal levels

We can set reminders on HD+ but we can't manage them like we do on HD STB. I think other users also mentioned it on our forum.

So by mistake if we place a reminder somehow, there is no way to delete it .

Okay. I just tested it for you on my box. It gets listed under Plan -> Booked. Check there, we can manage it. Just confusing if you recently come from another TS box as its different there.

BTW any new features being introduced on PVR STB, like the ouch panel. I really hope it gets activated and new apps are added with new features

Yes they are listed under same folder.

No new features but existing features works flawlessly. No idea if any new apps or feature will ever come. Only wish audio selection via HDMI bug gets resolved one day.

I find the PQ in New PVR stb much better than hd STB

Somehow even SD channels have some shine , arnabs face now looks clearer

TS CC says for HD PVR STB 90cms Dish is required.

For new connections they have started giving 90cms dish, but for upgrade no new dish is provided.
I have 75cm Dish i guess
