Good news hya but along with Sab HD I want another hindi GEC channel like rishtey to show older episodes of Aahat and CID.

Sony having permission for all channels in HD but strangely it is not much concentrating on their HD version channels.As we know SET HD and SIX HD already available and AXN HD and PIX HD are in testing mode and yet to lauch after IPL.
About SAB HD,Personally I dont think it will launch before MAX HD,either it will lauch along with MAX HD and MIX HD or it will launch after at least after MAX HD channel launching.So dont expect more at this situation.

Bro, as we all know now that MAX2 is already launched, which was expected to be launched after IPL, so, now its clear that they are in hurry to execute their plans; means soon they will start the testing of SAB HD channel too. The early launching of MAX2 is really a good sign. Now, we can hope SAB HD channel very soon !!!

Guess they dint launch hd channels previously because their unblinking centre was Malaysia and now when they have shifted their centre to India we got signs of launching hd channels by testing of axn hd nd pix hd. So chances are very high that soon they will start testing sab hd which is competing its parent channel Sony itself.

Forget hd channels in India anytime soon has it will take at least 5 more years for Indian DTH to establish a reasonable number of HD subscribers then only we can hope for some new HD channels has currently HD penetraion is hardly more than 6 or 7 % .
