I think after getting BCCI rights ESS have demanded heavy money for carrying thats why Adtv is discontinuing

HD market is still so volatile that if someone is really attached to a channel, he must have multiple connections...if a channel is gone from a platform, at least there is another option open...

ESPN HD has turned out to be a useless channel since the olympics as they have just been showing useless italian serie and la liga matches while they hardly showed bpl matches involving top teams..plus very few f1 races were shown live after the football season started.. so there would not much of an issue if espn hd is removed..

but if star cricket hd is removed then we 'll lose all the india matches home and away..except for matches in sl,wi..so that will be a big blow wallwall:wall

Whether you like it or not ESS HD are the most wanted hd channels. Hard to attract new hd customers without those channels.
