Set Top Box is not working

Hi,

I bought videocon d2h last week ( 2222 STB) . It was working fine till yesterday. Today morning when i tried to switch on the STB, nothing is getting displayed on the tv. Instead the red led keeps on blinking. I tried to reconnect the power cable but still i am having the same issue.

Please help me.

Could be due to faulty FW upgrade. As there was a software upgrade yesterday, that would have failed during update. Call CC and they will send technician to fix it.

i have called cc. he told me that they will send a technician tomorrow. will update the details tomorrow.

the technician didnt come today .I think i got a faulty or old set top box. Check these pics. I was not at my home when d2h was installed any my dad didnt notice this.

1) STB card board box

2) STB manual covered with fungus.

3) Rusted screws on the backside of the STB

Unbelievable. How can they provide such box on a new connection which is stored in a dirty place?
