Switching to Tata Sky from D2h

I am @ final point of switching. I need your help specially from those who switched from D2h.
1. In few threads, I found that  :hd PQ of D2h is better than TS. Is it true or it's just the PQ difference of respective DTHs SD & HD channels made us feel like that?
2. Heard TS don't have any STB upgrade options. I have a Sony 55" 4K TV. Which STB I should go for? 4K or HD? The price difference is 4600. Is there any 4K channels coming soon?
3. Should I go for 1 year plan or just 1 month? There are threads saying hd access fee of Re 1 or Rs. 99 sometimes.
4. Can I use my existing D2h cable (60 mtrs long) or I have to take new and pay for excess of 10 mtrs cable?

As per my experience pq is better in tata sky than d2h. on same stb.

Stb upgrade options available. Sd to hd, hd to hd dvr, hd to 4k etc..

Depends on your choice. On annual plans you get some discount where as on monthly plans you can avail those special offers..

Yes you can use the existing d2h cable. No problem with that. Tell the technician during installation to use the old cable.. hope it has no joints so that you will get a great quality experience without signal issues..

As there is no 4K channels coming soon, in my opinion it's better to go for HD STB. If 4K channels launch, I can upgrade. But what is the UG cost of HD to 4K? The difference is 4600 for new STB.

Go for ADTV. You,ll experience the best entertainment with your SONY 55'' 4K.

The biggest advantage of ADTV is I can have all  :hd channels in just Rs. 324 and I only watch HD channels. In TS, I have to spend more than double. But sorry bro, I wont go for ADTV for 4 reasons.
1. They don't have 4K STB.
2. They don't provide any special offers. Even for recharge offers, every site says 'except airtel'.
3. TS have some exclusive +1 channels.
4. The most important, ADTV don't have travelxp HD, my most watched channel after sports & movies.

if you want max hd channel and all demandable sd channel and english movie internaional channel go for tatasky and if you are talking about picture quality there is no diffrence after checking i found no diffrence in pq but i get better audio quality in tatasky by checking d2h and tatasky now day tatasky is ruling all dth though its costly but you will get good sevice for it ,in d2h you will not get all hd channels english movie channel all you can compare on all dth website you will find good packages is provided by tatasky but you may find costly

I switched to Tata sky HD from d2 h HD last week and found these advantages:-
(1) max HD channel more than 70
(2) better pq in sd channels also.
(3) I activated semi annual ultra HD pack for rs.4510,which gave me 5 free showcase movies also
(4) value for money as in d2h for rs.670/- pm u get only around 50 HD channels.

I think adtv is more cheaper than any other dth (if u only want to watch hd channels) as they give all hd channel at jst rs 225 and base pack starting from rs 99 ..... i found no difference in pq of tata sky and adtv as they use same type of software and hardware...
