Best to load a movie channel like star movies hd and then check if audio changes. Else contact cc.

When I set "Auto", I can feel the audio quality changes.and improved audio quality .And sound adjustment can be done only using TV remote. That means dolby digital is working right???

The unacceptable thing is, DD/ DD+ not showing up in EPG...!!!!

Bro I think new box still under warranty..so I think you can raise a complaint, technician visit charge should be free, explain them maybe they will fix it or replace with another box

This box dont have another one option. "Favourite audio Language preferred over Dolby" in Language settings.

Looks like dolby digital is not supported on the box. You should ask for replacement.

No, Tata Play didn't use the certification logos to cut costs. but DD, DD+ will work when you use the "Auto" mode. Based on the channel's source audio, it will be DD or DD+. So it is not a defect or bug... All STBs manufactured in the 2023 second half and 2024 will be like this only.

Tata Play is misleading customers through their portal and salesman. This box is not dolby enabled. Tata Play binge box do have dolby. check my posts and raise to this malpractice.
