NEW DELHI, AUG 31:
Direct to home player Tata Sky Ltd said that it had cut prices by Rs 200 to launch a promotional offer at Rs 1,390 for standard definition connection and installation. Harit Nagpal, Managing Director and CEO, Tata Sky, said, “We are confident that this pricing will catapult the process of digitisation across the country and will help boost the government’s efforts to digitise India on the set deadline.”

The price cut comes at a time when the five national multi system operators, Sitidigital, DEN, INCablenet, Hathway Cable and Datacom and Digicable have come together to offer digital cable services at Rs 799, limited till September 30 in the four metros.
