There should be a mandate that all DTH platforms should offer all channels available in market.. Competitive channels are not offered by DTH like Sun direct and in Cable TV also..

I pay ₹25 only for Zee channels. I didn't take that package.
Zee Bangla, Wion, ETC, 24 Ghanta, Zing, Zee Bangla Cinema, Living Foods, Zee Bollywood

last november when Zee channels were available at 14.16 it was relief for us, paid only 28.32/m for those 2 channels, now offer gone and started paying again 44.84 {-_-}

In my opinion, we don't need so much channels. 6 GEC, 3 movies, 3 Music, 3 News and 3 Sprituals 3 Sports and 3 Knowledge channels are enough in a language.

Not practical also for DPOs... DPO carries large no. channels. DPO's cost remains same if 20 customers watch all 400 channels or 20 customers watch 20 unique channels(20×20)... Why should DPO charge less for 20 channels if its customer cost is same for all. Nobody will become a DPO to serve 20 channels to a single customer, unless all cutomers watch common 20 channels.
All those who want common 20 channels with 0 or 20 rs NCF can make your own association and make a DPO, take govt loan. Do agreements with broadcasters of those 20 channels.. lets see hw ur DPO company survives...
