There is a monthly rental of Rs 130 (plus taxes), and you get 100 channels. Now, if they are FTA (free-to-air) channels, you don’t have to pay anything extra. If they are pay channels, you pay for them separately. If you want more channels, pay for the channels and channel capacity.

I'm personally very happy with this judgement,I watch only 10-11 channels(2Hindi GECC, 2Punjabi GEC, 3-4 News channels,and 1-2 cartoon channels).
Now, i won't have to pay for all channels.

It's good for Tatasky HD users who no longer have to pay HD access fee. But for us who were already getting good packs this dual payment system is just complicated.

But if that pack contains only 100 FTA channels then we don't need to pay & if it contains pay channels also then we have to pay for them separately. So, it's not necessary to pay 130 every month. It depends on DTHs which kind of channels they provide in that pack.

No you can make your own alacarte package for minimum 172 rs per month after 31 December in all Dth at new prices

Yes
