If the prices after 29th Dec is high then I might not subscribe dth at all and might use only online app like amazon, youtube, sonyliv etc. Channels Prices will come down soon if customers starts doing this. Also I think there will be option to not take any base pack and to take only Ala Carte where we can take only 3-4 HD channels and can pay below Rs 90. This option is available now also in most of the DTH's. Hoping, that base pack should not be compulsory for taking only Ala Carte channels.

We won't be able to choose channels below base pack value as they have a condition that total value of a-la-carte channels should not be less than 150 Rs + taxes. They will obviously keep this condition to get min revenue per customer. They are smarter than us bro & the only option we have is not to pay for premium channels.

This Pack Will Be Available Effective December 29, 2018 From All DTH, Cable TV And MSO Operators.

Also, This AD Takes A Slight Sarcastic DIG At TRAI For Making Those Packs So Cheaper.

If they want they can keep their channels above Rs.19 no issues only constraint is it can't be part of any Bouquet and should be an alacarte channel.
