We're free to choose what we want and that's the key motive behind this tarrif order, even if operators declare their packs, it won't be mandatory to subscribe them.

Altough, broadcasters, taking advantage of the stay on 15% cap, have designed bouquets which may contain channels out of our interests.
Ok bro

Ok guys pls tell me if i am right here:

So For 100 channels (PAY)- NCF say Rs 75 (Max Rs 130)
And opt for the following broadcaster packs

Broadcaster A HD pack (14 channels) - Rs 85
Broadcaster B HD pack (28 channels) - Rs 85
Broadcaster C HD pack (25 channels) - Rs 50
Broadcaster D HD pack (17 channels ) - Rs 90
Broadcaster E SD pack (4 channels) - Rs 10

Total comes to Rs 320 for 88 channels + say NCF Rs 75

Grand total Rs 395

+18%
You should take ncf rs 130+tax for Tata Sky

If they put price tag of Rs 130 now then what will they put 10 years from now ? Regulation hardly changes so this 130 is here to stay for long time

lot of fta channels available in asiasat 5, 7, and intelsat why have pay or waste Rs 130 for fta

Even if a DPO takes Rs 50 as NCF/subscriber for first 100 channels that will be enough for the crores of customer base they have.
