Now even multi-connections are being charged separately. I was quite happy with my 2nd Airtel connection, paying Rs.275/Month for all HD channels (of primary connection), but now I have to pay Rs.350 that too for non-hd channles. And TRAI says "25 percent reduction in TV bills".

Now he is charging Rs 320/ month for the same
Rs 120 increased

Don't take all channels which u hardly watch
Take important ones
I did same in my d2h
I sacrificed many channels which I used to watch few times
So now by reduced from 300 to 285

Earlier our Tv bill was 250 rs per month.
In that we got all channels.(280)
And now,in rs 250 we are hardly getting 100 channels.
Now is it reduce or increase

I m not a cable TV subscriber
I was telling onehalf of my Neighborhood
I check his no Of channels

Earlier he was Getting Sports channels
(star Sports 1 Hindi, Star Sports 2 & Sony Ten 1)
All Hindi movies, Entertainment, News & infotainment & few kids channels @ Rs200/ month

But now He told me that his bill increased Worth RS 120 after TRAI new regulation frame work

Old Rs200/ month
New Rs320/ month


I m Airtel DTH subscriber

Earlier I used to Pay Rs 219/ month

Now Today I m paying Rs245/month
Only for few channels

( No Colors channels, No Sony channels,No Zee cinema)

i am dish tv customers, i used to pay of rs 340 for all sports (except ten 1-2-3) and all bengali channels, now i sacrificed some gec channels & sports channels, now my subscribed cost is rs 265.
ex- I sacrificed all star sports channels during ipl (although i am a cricket fan, but i have a budget), I will subscribed only that channel for that dat- where the major teams cricket live match will telecast.

for those bro's- who want to subscribe all channels, my request is that dont go for all channels, becoz u r not watching all channels in a single day, so better just choose 1-2 channels for all generic channels, that will surely decrease ur bill amount.

We never understood from where TRAI get the calculation. Earlier I used to pay only Rs. 739.00
for all my three connections in Airtel with all most all HD channels now it is time to Spend Rs. 1500.00 +
for the same channels. So I never support TRAI's new tariff policy.
