Discussion Which broadcasters will b in loss after trai rule implementation??

ZEE is dominating regional market. They also have most good new Bollywood movies. Unlike Star and Sony they always airs recent movies and shuffles their line up cleverly. Sony will be the biggest loser. Other than sports they have nothing good to offer.

If I am not wrong the sports gives max revenue. 10 sec slot at 10 lakh. No movie or serial ad will give you this much money

According to me biggest gainer will be viacom 18 and biggest looser will be zee network after trai new rules now let me clear this

Star network
Star network will easily survive and will find place in most of tv boxes due to its sports content ,ipl rights , world cup rights and they hav there own sports leagues all arround year ... there gec channel star plus also have good quality shows ...so star plus will survive because of sports and entertainment channel

Sony network
Sony network also have good sports channels and sports rights ...so cricket , football fans cant miss sony channels + sony also have rights of bigg banner movies and there entertainment channel sony tv also have good quality shows like the kapil sharma show..so sony channels will be also in safe position

Viacom 18
According to me after trai new rules biggest gainer will be viacom 18 for sure... If you lives along with your family then you also know how valuable colors tv is for families and people who watch tv along with families they will never miss viacom 18 channels..colors tv hav most appealing shows like Bigg boss ,khatron ke khiladi ,naagin 3...there reality shows are always on top of trp...biggest advantage with colors tv pack is that it will be available at low price compare to all other network packs because they have less number of channels so every one will there packs because it ll be affordable ...plus viacom 18 have good music channel like mtv beats...good kids channels like nick....they already have storng position in english entertainment with colors infinity...so good content and affordable price viacom 18 will be biggest gainer.

Zee group

I dont know how zee group will survive...they have nothing that appeals people to subscribe to there packs ...
They dont have any good sports channel..
There music channels like zee etc and zing are already fail
I don't find any zee tv shows appealing ..

People like me who had subscribed to Ultra Pack in Tata Sky, with 1 extra connection, is finding hard to keep total amount under Rs 1000. I want to subscribe multiple channels, so Primary Connection getting Rs 700+. Due to this, secondary connection now costs Rs 400. So total of Rs 1100+

From network point of view, Zee will be effected for sure. Star and Sony have lot of foreign funda,will sail through it.

Financially no Doubt Star or Sony will not gonna suffer But In terms of TV viewership It will Be Star which will be most affected after new rule ...Bcz As of now In Hindi market Zee n Colors are Leader WHILE Star is far behind In Top Shows Viewership In Urban n Rural both ..not jus dt.. Zee is leader or strong in many regional markets..So It will be Star dt wil struggle most as far as TV viewership is concerned

According to me, not Zee, Viacom will be biggest looser.
Zee TV is much popular than Colors. Also, people will be attracted towards Zee for their so popular regional channels. Viacom's regional channels are not so popular. As a example, our family demand for Zee only for Zee Bangla & Zee 24 Ghanta, but nobody wants Viacom channels coz nobody watch Colors Bangla.

I think Viacom will be a big loser too. Colors has for the most part, shows that do not really have anything unique. Except for Ishq Mein Marjavan, Shakthi, and Internet Wala Love I do not see any show appealing and I do not even watch those 3, I did at some point for a couple weeks. I think Colors will fall further.

No Biggest Looser Wil Be a Star In Hindi Market ...if We Go by BARC Viewership ...U can clearly See dat All d Top 10 most viewed shows Of TV Either It is in Urban Or Rural dis days Are Mostly Frm Zee Colors n Sony ..Most Of Star plus shows nowadays Be it Urban trp Or in Rural Trp Most of der shows Are At Mostly Bottom Places In BARC rating

STAR Plus is #2 in urban and is pretty close to overtaking Sony once Super Dancer hype is over. STAR Plus also has many shows with good ratings and the shows are much better than Colors. Colors is #4 in urban. So do not say STAR Plus is suffering in urban

What will you say about Star..I don't watch any Channels or any Shows frm Star Zee Or evn Frm Colors..But if U Look at BARC Rating Zee Has always Max number Of show in Top 15 While Star Has max show at bottom numbers ...And Evn in Star Not any show Worth watching...Not Jus Star both Zee Colors also hav typical saas bahu saazis dramas n Ghisa pita Contents In Most of der Shows.. .Sony has better content at list den dos..But Ya Its Only Zee n Colors right now which ruls in Trp ..while Star is Struggling..so It will surely gonna Struggle most now
