ZEEL Officially confirmed that they will soon Enter Kerala Market by Launching Zee Malayalam and strengthening south India presence. Zee is one of the leading Indian tv networks, they haven’t any channels in Malayalam. Zee network completed 25 years and recently launched fresh look. Zee having channels in Telugu, Kannada and Tamil languages. They have recently launched high definition version of zee tamizh and roped jyothika as brand ambassador. ZEEL realizes that they have not much influence in the south Indian market especially Kerala. Star network channel Asianet leading Kerala market.

Sun network channel Surya tv, Malayala Manorama group channel Mazhavil Manorama are the other biggies in Kerala. Zee started purchasing big budget film rights, they bagged satellite rights of 2.0 (Enthiran Part 2) and Mersal. All the major Malayalam channels airing dubbed content, Zee tv planning to bring own serials and shows Malayalam dubbed version in their GEC. Zee tv’s Malayalam GEC launch date, availability and other details not finalized yet.

Reports say zee tv started purchasing Malayalam film rights and discussion going with serial directors to bring fresh content to Malayalam viewers. Viacom18 also planning to bring Malayalam GEC named Colors Malayalam. Zee Telugu, Zee Cinemalu, Zee Tamil, Zee Kannada are the South Indian channels from ZEEL (Zee Entertainment Enterprise Ltd). As per latest Telugu trp rating chart, Zee Telugu is leading. Zee tamizh dropped into 4th place after Star Vijay. Hope zee tv Malayalam channel will very soon and it will be available through DTH and cable networks.

Can't entrust this source . This website was better at old days, but now they have lost its credibility. They are just assuming things I guess. I am not sure Viscometer will come to Kerala market, since it's the smallest advertisement revenue market compared to other south Indian markets, they will be focusing more on their Tamil channel.

Zee entertainment is a waste group.
Still now they didn't start Telugu hd channel.
Sun group ,E tv group and star maa group started hd channels.
Really waste channel zee Telugu.
Real Telugu man hate this channel

They already got licence for zee telugu HD, zee cinemalu HD, so it's confirmed that they'll launch this channels.

We can expect them in next 2 or 3 months.

Along with them following channels can be expected in southern region from zee.

3 . zee Malayalam
4. Zee news Tamil
5. Zee news Malayalam
6. Zee news kannada
7. Zee news telugu.

Post full acquisition of 9x media, they might also consider to launch more music channels in regional markets
