India’s leading Direct to Home (DTH) operator Tata Sky is offering 2 months guaranteed cashback to its customers on recharge of 12 months in their Tata Sky account through Citibank.
The offer was rolled out last week with our community forum members Indian and DJ Roy spotting it as early as Thursday on Tata Sky’s website. We asked Tata Sky for the exact launch date but couldn’t get a proper answer on the same. The offer is valid until June 30.
Tata Sky customers can avail of the offer on the Tata Sky website or mobile app by recharging their Tata Sky account with an amount equivalent to 12 times their monthly recharge value or more using Citibank credit and debit cards. However, it is not valid for corporate cards.
Tata Sky Representative was quoted as saying, “Cashback would be credited in the Tata Sky account within 7 working days. One month’s worth of cashback would be credited within 48 hours and the other month within 7 working days of the successful recharge.”
The cashback can be availed only once per card per month. Tata Sky states that if a customer is not sure of the correct amount, they can simply enter a smaller amount and proceed further. Eligible customers will be shown with a pop up with the correct amount required for the annual recharge.
Subscribers acquired on annual/semi-annual long duration packs and recharge done on Tata Sky account activation day wouldn’t be considered for the offer.
