DD Retro now available on Dish TV Channel No 191 through DD Free Dish

The addition was done earlier this morning on the Dish TV platform. It came hours after d2h added DD Retro on its platform. Dish TV has latched onto a DD Free Dish Transponder to add DD Retro. More than a dozen channels that DD Free Dish is airing on that TP is now available on Dish TV.

The tremendous demand for DD Retro from Dish TV users has led to the addition of the channel. Dish TV and d2h have been fairly inactive in new channel additions post their merger.

Dish TV users on our community forums stated that bar DD Retro all other channels are located at 4 digit LCNs. DD Retro is placed at LCN 191. The addition of DD Retro on Dish d2h now gives it reach across all major DTH platforms in India. It’s availability on Cable TV however seems to be lesser with many cable operators yet to add the channel.

DD Retro is soon going to air Mahabharat on its channel. Baaje Payal, Sankar Mochan Hanuman, Circus, Rajani, Chanakya, Sai Baba Tere Hazaron Haath, Byomkesh Bakshi, Buniyaad, Dekh Bhai Dekh, The Jungle Book, Shrimaan Shrimathi, and Shri Krishna are among the shows in the programming lineup of DD Retro.
