MIB greenlights TV license of Rishu Movies, India News Jai Bangla, and Prime 9 News
Rishu Movies, Prime 9 News, and India News Jai Bangla bag approval for TV license through name change of existing TV channel license.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) yesterday updated its permitted satellite TV channel license database with the renaming of three existing TV channel licenses to make way for Rishu Movies, India News Jai Bangla, and Prime 9 News. The new TV channel licenses have come at the expense of Devdoot, Sadhna News TV, and R TV.
MIB has renamed Ishwar Media Private Limited’s TV license named Devdoot to ‘Rishu Movies‘. The TV channel license held by Ishwar Media was initially known as Ishwar Bhajan and subsequently as Devdoot before being renamed as Rishu Movies.
The Ministry has also renamed Rayudu Vision Media Limited’s TV license named R TV to ‘Prime 9 News‘. The TV channel license held by Rayudu Vision has the authorization to broadcast in Telugu, English, and all other Indian languages. The license was granted in the ‘NEWS’ category with uplinking and downlinking permission.

MIB additionally has renamed Softline Media Network Private Limited’s TV license named Sadhna News TV as ‘India News Jai Bangla‘. The TV channel license held by Softline Media was initially known as ISHWAR and subsequently known as Sadhna Bangla and Sadhna News TV before being renamed as India News Jai Bangla.
The Ministry in recent times has also greenlighted TV channel licenses for INH 24X7, Jay Jagannath, Harvest TV Keralam, Zee Ganga, Surya Sajanwa, and Vertent Samachar Plus 24×7, Good News Today, ABP Desam, Zee Josh, Goldmines, Goldmines Hindi, and Goldmines Movies.
