The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) yesterday amended its permitted satellite TV channel license database to rename Sidharth Music TV channel license as ‘Jay Jagannath‘. The TV channel license held by Cuttack-based Sarthak Music Private Limited has been recently renamed by the Ministry.
MIB had initially on 5th August 2021 granted Sarthak Music Private Limited a fresh TV channel license named ‘Sidharth Music‘ in the ‘NON-NEWS’ category with permission to uplink and downlink. The TV channel license has the authorization to operate in Odia, English, and Indian scheduled languages. The TV channel license is now called ‘Jay Jagannath’.
The trademark named ‘Jay Jagannath’ was filed by Sarthak Music Private Limited on 26th November 2020 post which the company would have at some point of time filed an application with the MIB for TV channel license name change.

Sitaram Agrawalla and Namita Agrawalla run Sarthak Music also holds two other TV channel licenses named Sidharth Bhakti and Sidharth Gold. The duo run Sidharth Broadcasting separating holds another TV channel license named Sidharth TV.
Sidharth TV Network currently offers Sidharth Bhakti, Sidharth Gold, and Sidharth TV from GSAT 30. Sidharth TV is an Odia General Entertainment Channel (GEC) priced at Rs 11.9, Sidharth Gold is an Odia Regional Movie Channel priced at Rs 3.46, and Sidharth Bhakti is an Odia Regional Devotional Channel priced at Rs 3.46. The broadcaster also offers a ‘1 Odisha Pack’ broadcaster bouquet priced at Rs 16 carrying Sidharth Gold, Sidharth Bhakti, and Sidharth TV.
