Tata Sky users may face intermittent outage amid maintenance activity

India’s leading DTH operator Tata Sky has scheduled maintenance activity on 31st January and 1st February. Tata Sky team informed DreamDTH that due to this maintenance work viewers may face intermittent outage on Tata Sky services.

The activity will be done in a phased manner during night time to minimize inconvenience to Tata Sky customers. On 31st December users are expected to experience the outage between 01:00 am to 06:00 am while on 1st February it will happen between 01:00 am to 05:30 am.

Tata Sky before this maintenance period on 30th January, will shuffle LCN of 5 channels, rename one channel and change genre of two channels. Surya Bhakti will be renamed to Surya Bhojpuri and it will be moved from spiritual to Hindi regional genre while Anjan TV will be moved from Hindi regional to Hindi entertainment genre.

Channel number of Surya Bhojpuri will be changed from it’s previous LCN 1081 to LCN 1119, Anjan TV will be moved from its current LCN 1107 to LCN 178. B4U Bhojpuri, a Hindi regional channel will be shifted from LCN 1119 to 1118. Marathi movie channels Fakt Marathi and Shemaroo Marathibana will be moved from LCN 1230 to LCN 1229 and LCN 1233 to LCN 1230.
