Chennai based Multi-System Operator (MSO) Thamizhaga Cable TV Communication Pvt Ltd (TCCL) has become the latest MSO to onboard the TRAI Channel Selector app as TRAI ramps up the onboarding of missing Cable TV operators.
The onboarding of TCCL comes days after GTPL Hathway, Kerala Vision Digital TV, and DEN Network onboard the TRAI Channel Selector app. The app has now onboarded 8 MSOs on the platform namely Asianet, GTPL, Hathway Digital, InDigital, Kerala Vision Digital TV, Siti Networks, DEN Networks, and TCCL.
TACTV, SCV, Fastway, E-Digital, KCCL, and VK Digital now remain among the main MSOs which are currently not present onboard the app. TRAI has been onboard missing Cable TV and DTH operators in the recent weeks with 1 DTH and 4 MSOs onboarding the TRAI Channel Selector app.
TRAI Channel Selector app which was launched on 25th June allows users to view, modify, subscribe, and optimize their existing subscribed TV channels and packs.
