The Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) will continue to take up urgent matters during the current coronavirus pandemic. TDSAT however will now instead hear the urgent matter through video conferencing on the Cisco WebEx application.
The competent authority has approved the taking up of urgent hearing through WebEx application, a notice by the desk officer read. TDSAT has directed the parties to download the Cisco WebEx application on their systems to enable them to attend the hearings of their cases.
Those who have urgent cases listed for a hearing can send their email ID to the registry on which the weblink for the hearing will be sent well before the time for the above-said purpose. TDSAT further said that the instructions for a satisfactory hearing would be notified in due course.
TDSAT in the last 50 odd days has heard a bunch of petitions with Swami Films Entertainment, NXT Digital, Vaji Communications, and Vizianagar Citi Communications urgent matters among them.
