Will Shut their Shop within 2 - 3 months.

I cannot comment on the last few Bangla channels. They keep coming up and going away. But since Bangla Talkies is owned by the Media Worldwide (Sangeet) network, and it is a music channel, maybe it can be converted into a movie channel.

Among the others, I think only the channels in bold might shut down. Bindass cannot. It is one of the last youth music channels along with MTV and Zing after Channel V closed. TV9 Bharatvarsh has recently launched so it cannot close.

Sony did not have the fight to sustain HD-only niche channels. But Zee has enough firepower to keep at least something running on it. Not to mention Star which is keeping a zombie (SWP HD) running. Also, the promotions for &xplor HD are out, so it cannot cancel it.

But since Bangla Talkies is owned by the Media Worldwide (Sangeet) network, and it is a music channel, maybe it can be converted into a movie channel.

Hence the Channel is completely Financed & Distributed by SVF - After one of their Founder / Promoter Mr.Srikant Mohta pushed into Custody by CBI for Fraud now its really going tough for them to maintain the Channel.
Bangla Talkies used to showcase Movies on Sunday 1 pm & 5 pm but the AD Revenue generated was pathetic & in the mean time signing an Exclusive DTH Deal with Sun Direct cost them heavily in terms of High TRP & Finance Backup
Now the situation is Media WorldWide cannot swallow the Channel neither vomit it completely.
So the perception of Shutdown Process may start Soon unless they Come up with huge Plan & Financial Promoters.

Recently You will find 'Bindass' is airing old shows of Disney / Movies of UTV Movies / Repetitive Songs / Teleshopping / Old Episodes of Yeh Hai Aashiqui for the whole day. It is in turbulence but Yes May be You have said right after the distribution merger with Star now if 'Bindass' can get good AD & Financial Support.

TV9 Bharatvarsh has recently launched so it cannot close.

Here is same Fiasco that's of Tiranga TV. The Employees & Promoters are not happy with certain decisions of TV 9 Management and also in terms of TRP as of Baarc. The Smell is not as good as to retain Financially strong like Republic/ABP/ or TV Today.

&xplor HD will launch soon. Expect official info on it soon, probably this week itself or maybe even tommorow. As for Zee Classic altho social media handle is dead Zee Cinema HD is regularly airing Zee Classic promos.

Titanic - Dubbed in Hindi set to premiere this Saturday at 8 PM on Star Gold.

Now Star India also has Dangal movie indirectly in its kitty as UTV channels r fully managed by them now. They cannot air it on Star Network bcoz of contractual limitations as mentioned in satellite rights sharing agreement with Zee. Also there r only few screenings of this movie allowed for UTV

By that way, won't Star Network air Bollywood movies like Border, L.O.C. Kargil and Sapoot (telecasted on UTV movies)?

Recently SIPL published new RIO Document but unfortunately not even Updated by any DPOS in India.

Recently SIPL launched 3 New Channels on the Board:-
NGC Tamil / NGC Telugu / SS1 Marathi.
If they don't distribute their Channels vividly or smartly then how can be the penetration in terms of TRP (which is most important part after TRAI storm) will be fulfilled ?
The above mentioned 3 New offerings from Star are still with no platform then Who is Watching and How ?
SIPL is silent and so the DPOS........

High End (Unconfirmed) Source now stating that all 3 New Star Channels are Coming Very Soon on airtel digital TV.

Star and Viacom18 officials have joint tea party daily in cafe or lawn where employees get together and channels like FYI TV18 HD, Star Sports Marathi, Nat Geo Tamil/Telugu r played. Hence it is not like these channels aren't serving some purpose. Some employees even post pics on social media with channel playing on their tv sets.
