Sad News Airtel Digital TV increased NCF charges

Very bad move just before @HappySoul bro was to take ADTV connection.

Now I guess he won't be shifting after this move 😕
They have not yet installed and I doubt too..
I visited their office on Saturday and they said someone will contact me , but no one..next day I contacted someone who took all details and said it will be installed today but again no one came..today someone came and said your area is not feasible , will check with senior...no reply after

They are taking it very lightly 😡
Seems invested heavily on infrastructure rather than training employees and dealers 🙏

Coming to dino point who justified the increase as a positive move by bringing infra development as the main reason, but tell me truly did invest more than tataplay, becoz tataplay launched a entire satellite but didn't increase ncf yet , didn't trap customer money in the name of 30 days lock in period ..a wise customer will know which is affordable!

Coming to all dth, I don't understand why they are increasing the price rather than reducing because of this increase more and more people moving to ott..it's feel like they are killing themselves 😞
 
Bro any chance of addition of pending important channels and LCN realignment in year 2025 ?..Don't expect your reply in 'soon'.
Buddy i am not working with Airtel Digital TV do how can i give u exact timeline but yes rest assured based in my deep understanding and observation of activities which have been carrying on i am certain LCN Realignment, channel addition and various other things will get implemented shortly on Airtel Digital TV Platform

Contact Airtel Presence, in certain areas as it happens for all operators delays happen from dealer side..... Send mail to nodal team and within 24 hours ur issue will be resolved

Do u think buddy that only leasing of transponders is a costly investment, there r several other things which add up and increase spending. ..... Also forvur information Tata Play has already increased NCF back in September 2024, i believe u forgot that or did not read the posts in the concerned thread..... Lastly just to add to it leasing transponders on Indian satellite is lot cheaper as compared to foreign satellite, also just google search as to how erstwhile Tata Sky got certain benefits while they were allocated Insat 4A transponders and read the below article which pertains to when Tata Play was found guilty of not passing input tax credit profit to its customers

Related to inflation, there is an increase in price of everything so obviously operators won't remain unimpacted by the same

Not necessary bro.....Tata Play seems to be in lot of financial losses hence they r finding ways to expand revenues + do cost cutting where necessary like removing Dolby Audio option on their HD boxes

Still no other operator has increased NCF,,some members were saying that soon others will hike NCF pricing too and i had said that time too that Tata Play is looking at increasing revenue by taking such steps so as to decrease losses....earlier they had taken some more of such decisions too

Hmm. So what justification will be given for ADTV increasing NCF for both primary + Multi TV connections ?
 
Not in the name of investment but they have actually put in lot of resources and made infrastructural additions which come at a cost.... Please stop criticising Airtel for each and everything they do, it seems u totally anti airtel when u make such comments on a regular basis
I'm not anti/fan to any one, everyone in our forum knows you are a fanboy of Airtel. Airtel said to be premium, but no features like DBR, fast HD channel additions, which are in TP, even in fiber service no innovative app like Jio tv+.
 
Tata Play increased Tamil Thalaiva HD new pack's price from Rs 319 to Rs 369, any comments about that?

bro shift to ott or buy airtel fta box or buy tp in non odu dhamaka offer. buying dth without any offer is not worth prices are increasing but service is not on ground.

Yes, they are trapped in a vicious cycle where they increase price to maintain revenue lost due to customers shifting to OTT but doing that makes even more people move to OTT resulting in further lesser revenue than what they had earlier and the cycle continues

Please stop this constant name calling and giving me baseless tags which ultimately makes it even more seem that indirectly u do not like airtel and do not have anything good to add or reply to my post /comment.

Airtel has done several innovations in past 5 years and far ahead of Tata Play , certain things r pending for reasons i hae already discussed upon and will get implemented gradually....compared to Jio too Airtel performing exceedingly well and as per my experience / what reviews i have read or heard Airtel have far better service quality too...... Lastly has having DBR has no connection with premium service and Airtel is adding FTA, Pay SD as well as HD channels which u do not acknowledge, tomorrow if pending Viacom18 HD channels get added still u and few other members will point to another shortcoming of Airtel and continuously criticise them for it rather than appreciating good steps taken by them...... Just calculate number of SD, HD channels airtel has added in 2024 and see how incase of XStream Box how they have come up with new variants and various innovations and even made huge improvements in its mobile, broadband services....Airtel caters very well to its mass and niche/affluent audience base hence is seeing growth across its businesses and from each customer segment
