Breaking Airtel DTH has increased Lock In Period For A-La-carte to 30 days

What's your take on the 30 Days lock in period?

1. Received reply after 2 days and ehen i receive reply that too time at 1 am adtv thought i wake up at 1:51am for their reply so conversation goes on 🤣🤣🤣

2.Also i mentioned clearly about bouquets but in reply they say they can help from their end to change base pack also avoid the topic why bouquets unavailable for me in app


3. They replied me they can do accounts related modified as if i don't onow they can do for me 🤣🤣 but i want to do myself which i clearly mentioned but they avoid that part

Bcoz their customer service desk is operational 24/7 hence as they receive thousands of messages/ queries / tweets all day long so it takes some time for them to see ur tweet & revert back
 
Had scheduled to remove SSS1 HD. 30days ends today. It was automatically removed at 10 PM. Don't know why they didn't keep the cutoff at 12AM or 11:59PM.
 
Coz money deduction time is 1:15am for bouquets or topup
No bro, day cutoff in Airtel is 12AM only. If you add any bouquet or top-up after 12AM, amount will get deducted immediately and at 1:15 AM, amount will not be deducted again. 1:15 is the general posting time. i.e for existing pack, DBR will be posted at around 1:15. If you remove the pack after 12AM even if it is before 1:15, amount will get deducted at 1:15.

System must be automatically deactivating channels in a phased manner which have been scheduled to be dropped today by various subscribers. Not a big issue, usually post 11:30 pm till 1 or 2 am servers of all DTH operators undergo daily maintenance hence usually face downtime so even subscribers should try to manually add or drop channels before or after this time so as to not face any issue

Bro, I don't care about any of this. I should get the channel till 12AM for which I had paid for. When there it's an automatic system, why should a customer go through the hassle of manual deactivation and in fact this luckily worked. I was still not sure if Airtel would deactivate properly. @somnath chakraborty bro said that he had placed the request but was not deactivated by Airtel. There are still many problems with this 30d lock-in. Accidental channel activation from Xstream box, minimum recharge is still 50rs i.e to activate a 1rs channel, if you don't have balance, you need to recharge with 50rs, channels gets deactivated when we activate a bouquet with the channel and doesn't reactivate after we remove the bouquet, possibility of channel not getting deactivated as scheduled and then looting money etc. etc.
