Agreed ,,, if Jio also doesn't support live TV streaming I would prefer fire stick 4k for my primary TV

Yes this is the Android TV app, same as in internet TV. This doesn't have an option to choose audio settings and many other.

Thank for review but so near but so far as if they are not allowing live tv, then whole thing wasted. I am not sure if stick will provide live tv as DTH is not with it and if so then stick would be better choice but then there is fire TV stick, which is perfect for live tv as well. Now let us see what jio does tomorrow???

Yes, as per the info given by the technician, dth subscription (Min Rs.153 i.e NCF) is mandatory however it is not known if the STB would stop showing only DTH channels or OTT apps will be affected as well in case a person doesn’t recharge. This time its a little different as they are charging for the xstream content subscription.( Included in the first year cost plus complimentary for airtel thanks users.)
Maybe Internet tv users can shed some light how it was earlier.
Will get back on sideloading.

Kindly confirm can we now able to use NTFS storage system in this box. In airtel internet tv it support only FAT32 and so we are not able to view the hard disk content
