Dont know why ddf members are not using their brains? When it is clearly written in the article that GSAT-10 transpoders were d replacement option for TataSky in the place of INSAT 4.. then why to create such misunderstanding?

It means if they want to use GSAT tps then they have to loose INSAT TPs for that use...... So why to use equal amount of tps on other satelite without any single benefit whn u r using that much on present satelite?

exactly right bro..this is what i am saying..

RE: Tata Sky's lies exposed by CAG

To be fair, the article does clearly mention:

"DoS launched GSAT 10 satellite in order to swap with capacity allocated to Tata Sky on INSAT 4A, which was functioning with reduced power. Tata Sky subsequently declined the proposal but DoS did not allocate capacity on GSAT 10 to any other service provider apprehending litigation, as Tata Sky was given exclusive first right of refusal on Ku Band capacity of INSAT 4A satellite,"

So under the circumstances GSAT 10 capacity would be a replacement for INSAT 4A. TS had contracted for additional capacity not replacement capacity. So that is probably why they refused. The article also doesn't mention the full reasons for refusal.

In this case I think TS can be given benefit of the doubt.

yes..every member is not reading this statement properly and defaming them..

RE: Tata Sky's lies exposed by CAG

those guys who are defaming ts, can wake up now and think properly....especially 'leader of defame'

Tata Sky's lies exposed by CAG

Yeah as per CAG report, Gsat 10 is a replacment for Insat 4 A,
Then what's the point in accepting Gsat 10 Tp's, they will get 12 Tp & loose 12,
So TS decided to stick with Insat 4 A, until they arrange something.

RE: Tata Sky's lies exposed by CAG

So then its whose fault isro or tata sky

RE: Tata Sky's lies exposed by CAG

mods, admin... Why cant u take action against the thread starter for spreading wrong info and defaming ts for wrong reasons

For ur Info Tata Sky applied for new transponders in 2007 and GSAT10 was supposed to launch in 2009 and it was not a replacement satellite for GSAT10, Tata Sky clearly stated that we will add new channels once we get new transponders from GSAT10. HERE IS THE PROOF
Tata Sky on Twitter: "@MalayalamHashs with the launch of GSAT - 10 satellite. Our effort will be to soon provide you with all your favorite cha...

Tata Sky was all around telling that as soon as GSAT10 is launched we will launch new channels and its CEO was saying that we have been waiting for new satellite launch since 5 years. So tell me when Tata Sky was offered GSAT10 , why did they refuse it. This logic that you are spreading that ISRO would have taken back Insat 4A if GSAT10 would have been given is wrong.

Also none of have answered why Tata Sky has not completed MPEG4 Migration, why r they delaying it when the CEO himself said that it will be compelted by June-July 2014 in an interview in mid 2013.

All this shows that Tata Sky does not have intention to increase bandwidth or channels, they will again give a a lollypop by adding few channels after many months of wait and tell that we r adding channels

But why are you saying that their intention is not yo to add channels already they have added more than 50+ channels so where is the question rising that they are not adding any new channels

RE: Tata Sky's lies exposed by CAG

ha ha ha.. Dino..u forgot that in the mean time witing for gsat 10, insat 4a got power reduced.why u r not including this in your argument. u r arguing only in one way..

CAG clearly mentioned the isro's intention towards gsat 10. But u r skipping this and impedending ur own words..

Tatasky applied for additional satellite, but isro offerd them as a replacement. It is clearly mentioned in the report.yes, suppose if they had launched it in 2009, then it was used as additional capacity..but it was offerd in 2013.
