DishNXT resolution issue

I just took Dish TV subscription. Software upgrade to 3.02. I'm watching on 43 inch Full HD samsung TV. I would also like to check the issue from my side. Help me know how to the check the resolution I'm watching & where you are setting resolution? Is it changing resolution setting in your TV settings?

Actually the resolution issue is sort after 3.02 version

Sorry I just checked now & found the software version is 2.99. But I remember it as 3.02 previously (don't know if I just overlooked it or dish tv downgraded it automatically). And yes, I'm also facing same issue with resolution as like you. You are taking about resolution setting in menu > Mydishtv > audio & video > HDMI > Resolution ? Right? It was set at 720 * 50 hz. I changed it to higher, but again going back to 720 when I shutdown & restart.

BTW, what is the correct resolution for a 43 inch Full HD led tv? 1080i * 50hz, 1080p * 50hz, 1080i *60hz, 1080p * 60hz? Which one to experience the best picture quality & sound?

But i just checked i am on version 3.02

You can keep 1080p resolution /60Hz refresh rate for your Full HD Tv..

But @Rom1moR we have to do this everytime.. it automatically turn to 720p.

Now please reply how to solve this..

Because the way you are shootin posts back to back I'm assumin you are desperate bout gettin it done & so when update was thr on 6th & 7th why didn't you bothered to get it done by keepin tab till you get it done..
Or should I consider that you didn't remember that you were havin a certain kind of issue regardin it that you forgot to follow up till it's get done..

First of all this is not the way, to give update on selected date and after that its gone, whosoever done on that date will get and other will not and FACE PROBLEMS.
Is this the right way that dishtv is doing..

And secondly, due to some work i was not able to access this forum in first week of november and also i didnt got any OTA update then how would i get to know about it and also, dishtv also didnt called me told me about that they will give this update only for selected date and for getting this you should mandatory do a force software upgrade.. @Rom1moR

Nobody is gonna call you to wake you up so that you gets your some issue fixed, it's a OTA which goes online for every next stb time to time.. if you are eager because it's somehow botherin you & you should keep tab to get it done the way you are doin now..
You need to wait for update..

Its bothering not only me but everyone,

Obviously i will wait because i paid to get stb and also in advance for the pack, so there is no other way than to wait..

And also let me clear you that i didnt got OTA and its 15 days since the last time fishtv given the update
I think that they are not sleeping nor they want to everyone not to use that update..
