what is hd access fee of Rs.100 p.m in Tata sky? Whether this is to be given every month along with package?

yes of-course...... its a monthly fee.

This is what they are telling in their website:

HD Access Fee of Rs 100 pm allows HD viewing of the SD channel subscribed to. HD viewing is subject to HD channels available on Tata Sky.

Rs 100 pm= Rs 100 per month

So without that Rs. 100 we cannot use HD channels? I can go upto Rs.400/month and i just want All Hindi channels, All kannada channels, All sports channels and Sports HD channels. Is tata sky better or D2H

If you want maximum Kannada Channels then go for Sun Direct Plus . I am using it . Its good. You can also go for Airtel Digital TV as Jansari News an extra Kannada Channel is exclusively available on Airtel. Picture Quality best in Airtel or Sun.
Here's the comparison : (Kannada Channels
DISH TV : 12 Channels (All the 12 Channels are available on other DTHS s well.) + AIR (KANNADA).
TATA SKY : 12 Channels (Channel list same as DISH TV, All the 12 Channels are available on other DTHS s well.)
AIRTEL DTH: 13 Channels (List same as DISH TV , TATA SKY but Jansari News available on Airtel not on any other DTH.)
VIDEOCON D2H : 12 Channels (All the 12 Channels are available on other DTHS s well.) + AIR (KANNADA).
RELIANCE DTH : 12 Channels (All the 12 Channels are available on other DTHS s well.)
SUN DTH : 14 Channels (Suriyan TV + Kannada Cinema Club exclusively available on SUN DTH, rest of the list same as above.)
DD DTH : 1 Channel (Very Less Channel.) + AIR (KANNADA).
Now you decide.

But sun direct is very worse in term of hd. Dont hurry, wait till digitization that is for 1 nov. All picture will be clear. And yes dont go with dish tv, they have not star's asli hd channels. It is better if you buy on diwali occasion. Also You can avail good festive offer by dth on new connection..

Which one your r using? How is your response? Currently i am using STB provided by Cable operators(IN Digital) Compared to Tata sky which is used by my neighbour clarity is not same as that of Tata sky(my TV is 40inch samsung Full HD. Whether this will be solved as digitization is compulsory from Nov 1st. I am staying in Bangalore whether it is applicable to me......
